Accessibility Statement
Draft — not yet effective · Last edited 2026-07-13
This is a working draft for review. It is not the final policy, it is not published, and it is not legal advice. The wording will change after review by counsel.
Our commitment
Slate aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We want every student, including those who use assistive technology, to be able to study, learn, and plan without barriers.
What we do
We design with keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast, visible focus, reduced-motion support, and screen-reader labels in mind, and we test as we build.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never finished. We treat reported barriers as bugs and prioritize fixes.
Contact
If something is hard to use with your assistive technology, tell us at support@slateapp.co and we will work with you. A formal accessibility report is available to schools on request.
