Privacy Policy

Elements by Slate · Effective October 5, 2026

The short version

Elements does not collect personal information. It has no account, no advertising, and no tracking. Your progress stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud storage.

Elements by Slate is made by Apex LLC. In this policy, "we" means Apex LLC.

This policy covers the Elements app. The website you are reading it on belongs to Slate and has its own cookie notice, shown when you first visit.

What Elements stores, and where

  • On your device. The elements you have discovered, the recipes you have found, your favorites, your workspace, and your settings.
  • In your iCloud storage. If your device is signed in to iCloud, your discoveries, recipes found, and favorites are also kept in your private iCloud storage, so they follow you across your Apple devices. That storage belongs to your Apple Account. We cannot see it or read it.
  • In Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center, Elements reports your achievements and leaderboard scores to Apple. Your Game Center name appears on leaderboards to other players, as it does in any Game Center game. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy.

What we do not do

  • We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, camera, or microphone.
  • We do not show advertising or use advertising identifiers.
  • We do not use analytics or tracking tools from other companies, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
  • We do not sell or share personal information. We have none to sell or share.

What Apple may tell us

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple gives us combined statistics, such as how many people installed Elements and whether it crashed. Those reports do not identify you.

Children

Elements does not collect personal information from anyone, children included. It has no chat, no player profiles, and no links to social networks.

Deleting your data

In Elements, open Settings and choose Reset Progress. This erases your progress from the device and from your iCloud storage, on every device signed in to your Apple Account. Deleting the app removes what is stored on that device. Achievements and scores already reported to Game Center are managed in your Game Center settings.

If you write to us

If you email us for help, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to answer you.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
